Overview

Trek through some of the most scenic areas in the Smokies to Arch Rock, Alum Cave Bluffs, and spectacular views along the way, on a trail once mined for gunpowder during the Civil War. Your guide points out landmarks everyday visitors easily miss.

Over a snack, take in landslide-shaped topography and watch for peregrine falcons diving off the cliffs. Requires comfort hiking uphill for 2.5 miles; we ascend and descend the same trail.
